A special blend of paper fibers was processed to create a pulp that was compressed into a mold. It takes several days for the form to dry. The process of unmolding has to be done slowly over a period of twelve hours so as to retain as much detail as possible. There is additional drying time and then it is selaed with several acrylic coats of paint to add strength and durability. It is then layered with several coats of paints and patina treatments using actual iron particles until successfully developed. It is layered on gold mirror paper and black gloss paper. The background is a green and gold leaf print.
